Mr. Noah Turner joined Technical Systems Testing (TST) in March 1999 as a Test Engineer / Consultant. On top of these responsibilities, Noah was soon tasked with the additional duty of Network Administrator, followed by the further role of Quality Management Representative (QMR). After having been advanced to the position of Senior Consultant, and then Laboratory Manager in July 2001, Noah was made Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of TST's global operations in September 2006.
Noah specializes in the evaluation of slot machine, Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) and Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) hardware, software, communications and games, as well as Interactive Gaming System (IGS) base website and games. Noah has received extensive training and education in the field of computers and electronics, and through his experience at TST obtained exceptional knowledge of the principles of Random Number Generators (RNGs) and game mathematics / statistics. Noah also has professional experience with expert witness research and support, and technical forensic investigation.
Noah has supervised compliance testing and consultation projects in North America, Australia, Asia, Europe and United Kingdom (UK), and has participated in the development of technical and regulatory standards for gaming jurisdictions around the world. Noah also contributes regularly to gaming and Information Technology (IT) industry publications.
Noah is proficient with International Standards Organization (ISO) Quality Management Systems (QMS) and technical documentation, having authored many of TST's policies, procedures, test scripts and templates.
Noah holds a Diploma of Electronic Engineering Technology (Computer Control Option) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and has received additional formal training in ISO QMS fundamentals, personnel law, proposal drafting, web authoring, LAN administration (Windows and Lotus), and International Game Technology (IGT) product training in Reno, Nevada, United States of America (USA). |
